Located just north of the Monterey Peninsula, Laguna Seca (see their official site) is a world-famous track, and NCRC is proud to host events there. This 2.1 mile, 11-turn track (including the famous corkscrew), will have you thinking of all the famous drivers that have driven this track.
Specific Track Rules
Monterey County has sound limits for the track, and our events are 90dB unless otherwise mentioned. You will get a mechanical flag for a sound violation. Three violations and you’re finished for the day.
Getting There
Laguna Seca is on Highway 68 between Monterey and Salinas, about halfway between Hwy 1 and Hwy 101. Enter the Laguna Seca grounds at the main entrance off highway 68 and immediately bear right. Climb the hill, pass the guard station (you do not need to pay a fee at the gate) and turn right toward the paddock. Pass over the track between turns 5-6, and go down the hill and enter the paddock.
Track Services
Cafe will be open for food.
Gas (including 91/101 octane unleaded) available at the track, 110 unleaded by advance arrangement for offroad vehicles only.
There are no helmets available for rent at the track.
NCRC does not rent the paddock overnight for camping. We encourage you to call Monterey County Parks Dept. at 831-758-3604 for reservations and pricing at their campground just outside the track.
Garages are rented directly from the track, not through NCRC. Here is the garage rental form, which you need to get to Judy Varley at 831-242-8250.
